Macular degeneration, often called age-related macular degeneration (AMD), is a leading cause of vision loss in Americans age 50 and older. It is a disease that destroys the sharp, central vision needed to see objects clearly. This affects the ability to read, drive, watch television, and do routine daily tasks. The total number of macular degeneration patients in the US today is estimated to be approximately 10 - 15 million.

Under normal conditions, drusen can be excreted via Bruch's membrane (BM), choroid and then outer of conjunctiva.  However, due to aging, BM will be adversely affected and BM occlusion will occur, which are caused by the following factors:

1. calcification ensuing brittleness to BM;

2. deposition of advanced glycation end products (AGEs);

3. deposition of advanced lipid peroxidation end products (ALEs); and

4. deposition of C3d, C53-9 and pentraxin 3 (homologus to acute phase reactant CRP).

Up to now, there is no drug or medication on the market that can effectively treat and reverse macular degeneration.

Our nano-grade eye drops can adsorb excessive calcium of BM, AGEs, ALEs, C3d, C53-9 and pentraxin 3 as they all have polarity. Adsorbing excessive calcium will restore the elasticity of BM. Once the problem of BM occlusion is solved, drusen can be excreted again through BM, choroid, and then outer of conjunctiva. If drusen can be effectively removed from eyes continuously, a patient's vision will be restored.

If you have wet macular degeneration and apply nano-grade eye drops 8 times a day, you will see much greater improvement than having anti-VEGF or anti-PIGF injections. For the first time in human history, macular degeneration can be effectively treated and reversed (not cured) to normal state by using nano-grade eye drops.
